Wondering exactly how many days are left until our next tailgate? Want to have all the important links handy at all times? Have a computer with Windows XP and Internet Explorer? Here is how to get the daily countdown on your desktop.

The finished product looks something like: (just the white box. I have the whole PSU theme for download if you're interested.)

How to:

1. right click on your desktop and click "Properties"
   
2. From display properties, click "customize desktop"
   
3. click the "web" tab
   
4. Click the "new" button.
5. Add
   http://dieseltailgate.com/countdown.html
   to the next screen:
   
6. Click "OK" until you're back to you desktop
7. Once it's on your desktop, resize as necessary

Trouble shooting:

A: In IE, go to "view","text size", and select a smaller size. Right click the DDT countdown and select refresh.

Q: My countdown went blank. How do I get it back

A: In IE, go to "tools" and "syncronize". Make sure Diesel Tailgate countdown is checked and click "syncronize".
